That being said, if you don't see us often you may not be up on the fact that my children rarely go by the actual names they were given at birth. Or at least not know all the names they go by. And odds are I will use nicknames in here because that is what I am usually calling them!
Tyler, who is 9 and starting 4th grade today, also goes by Ty and Sweetness. Or if you ask his Ashey, Squirt. Katie and I have been banned from using Sweetness at school.
Katerina, who is 6 and starting 1st grade today, also goes by Katie, Kitten, Kitten Hulk (don't make her angry!) and my personal favorite, Princess Ridiculous. She too has an Ashey nickname, Katie-did
My sweet baby Nathaniel, who will be 3 months in just 3 days, goes by Eli and Squirrel. He doesn't have an Ashey nickname yet. She needs to work on that.
Katie started dance classes last week and is LOVING it! She is taking musical theatre with her friend Allie and tap/ballet. We are so happy that she has found something that she loves to do and helps her burn off some of her crazy!
She also decided that she would like to start running (I use this word loosely) races with me. We are looking to do a color 5K at the end of October so this week she and I will be starting to train for that! I'm excited to have her do this with me, and a little nervous because when I did the triathalon she was a tough coach, I'm in trouble now that she will be actually running with me!
I think we are going to do a Tyler's lego creation post at least once a month. He has come up with some really cool stuff this summer and it needs to be shared. We had an arcade, a villain's lair, a clubhouse, a bus and who knows what else that he didn't show me! By far the most impressive thing he has built ( a set but impressive none the less) is his millennium falcon Uncle Ben bought him for his birthday. We didn't see him for two days while he got it built, he showed up for meals and disappeared again!
Squirrel doesn't have much going on but I am sure he is excited about having Mommy to himself a lot more! But soon he will be doing all sorts of things that will need to be bragged about! He is already scooting across the floor on his back. It is slow but he is definitely moving!
So now we work on getting used to getting everyone up and out in time for school without making Anthony late for work. And while they are at school, Squirrel and I will work on getting Mommy back into work mode too! And we will all wait patiently for a few more weeks for hockey stuff to start back up!

Love it!
